I cannot stress to pet owners how important it is to take a few minutes each day (or several times a day) to stop and rest and recharge. Taking some time to relax the mind and body are not just nice breaks...these are actually essential times we must take in order to allow our nervous system to reset. This gives us more energy, focus, and we are better able to make important decisions about our pets.
I find that my body and mind recharge much quicker outside in nature. Especially in an area that is expansive like an ocean, forest, meadow, or on a mountain. If you don't have access to these places, just a walk around the block or in a local park will do. And then make an effort to step outside several times a day and even go to the window to get a breath of fresh air.
So join me on the beach to give yourself a little break!
This video shows an easy quick technique that can put you in a calm state within minutes. This is a powerful practice that should be practiced daily and can be done any time during the day or night. So take a minute for yourself today by watching the video below. Your pet will thank you.
